Older workers see “happiness premium”
Workers who choose to work past their retirement age begin to see a “happiness premium” as they get older, according to a recently published study. The study found workers around the world reached a low point for happiness in their 40s but began to grow continuously happier on the job at around age 65, with social interaction, personal growth, independence and a sense of purpose key to their sense of well-being.
